The Foot Health NetworkLink

TFHN LINK

When a clinic needs a Chiropodist or Podiatrist, this is where they find one.

Clinics need help when someone is sick, on leave, or the days get too full. Chiropodists and Podiatrists across Canada sign up here to take that work. It might be one day, a few months, or a full-time job. Your patients still get seen. Your clinic stays open.

Tell us what you need, or what you can offer. We check the basics, find people who fit, and look at every match before anyone gets contact details.

We make the introduction. We do not interview anyone for you, and we cannot promise the fit will work out. You decide who works in your clinic.

What the network covers

Temporary coverage
Planned leave, sudden illness, or an emergency the same week.
Recurring capacity
A standing half-day or a fixed weekday, filled by the same verified provider.
Employment & contract roles
Associate positions and independent-contractor work, posted to members only.
Scope gaps
Nail surgery, orthotics casting and dispensing, wound care, home visits, matched on scope and not just availability.
Mentorship
New registrants paired with experienced owners who have done it before.
Retirement & succession
Phased hours, a handover plan, or the transition out of the practice entirely.

How the network protects both sides

Basic checks, not final vetting

Before a provider can be introduced, TFHN confirms they have given a professional registration number and current liability insurance, and matching pauses automatically when that insurance lapses. These are basic checks. Interviewing, references, and the decision to let someone work in your practice remain yours.

A person reviews every introduction

Matching narrows the field and a human decides whether to introduce. TFHN approves every introduction before contact details or intro emails are released. An introduction is not a recommendation, and it is not a guarantee that the fit will work.

The arrangement stays between you

The practice and provider negotiate compensation, complete due diligence, and sign their own agreement. TFHN makes the introduction and never stores patient information.

Emergency broadcast

One urgent request alerts every qualified member by SMS and email within minutes, because continuing-care obligations don't wait for office hours.

Why this exists

Careers and practices change. Members may need temporary coverage, a new working relationship, mentorship, or a thoughtful transition. TFHN Link gives the community one private place to describe those needs and make considered introductions.

Think of it as an introduction service. We learn what each side is looking for, check the basics, and put the right two people in touch. Whether the working relationship is a good one is between them, and that is the part no network can promise.
